Time to get back into the swing of things!

I'm a slacker!
Well, folks...I admit it.  I've slacked a bit over the summer.  A bit?  More like a LOT!  I neglected to post information about our September SPECIAL Families of Pierce County meeting.  We discussed the Son-Rise program and had an almost record-breaking attendance!  Thanks to Renee Holt, our speaker, we learned a lot about the aspect of using play as therapy for our kiddos.  It was really interesting to see the method, how it's applied, and some of the kids who have used it.  Amazing stuff.  Sorry to Renee for neglecting to post information about her topic on this site.  I'll try to come out of summer hibernation earlier next year!

As for October, here is the information for our next meeting!  I hope you can join us.  Our speaker is an amazing speech therapist, who has done some great work in our region.  I know from personal experience with my own kids what a wonderful person she is, the quality of care her clinic provides, and the dedication she has for helping families.

3005 112th St E.
(at 112th and Waller Rd, just off Hwy 512 Portland Ave exit)
